It's my third time doing this end of year post and I truly am happy.
Never did I thought that I'd be blogging up till now actually.
Back in 2009, blogging was like the in thing and those who had it were like super cool (at least what I thought) and they'd all be hitting each other's cbox to link their damn url at their friends blogs - what wonderful times. I've had a few blogs ever since I started blogging 7 years ago but this one stayed the longest with me.

2015 has been one of the best years of my life and I am super thankful for that. I am definitely glad that my family members and closest friends are in pink of health and I can't ask for more than that. Turning 19  made me realise something. The truest friends are the ones who are there for you in both good and bad times. People will come and go and that is part and parcel of life. I can't stop to think about how grateful I am to my friends who have stayed by me throughout good times and bad times. I hope that you'll stay by me throughout the coming years, you guys know who you are. I'm pretty sure 2015 has been a great year for two of my closest best friends too and I'm super happy for them and their you-know-whos. I've also learnt to love myself more and learnt to take in negative vibes and change it into motivation. Trust me, I had so much trouble in the past when someone decides to ruin my day with a rude comment. I'd be so annoyed by that snarky little comment and it'll bring me nowhere. I pretty much ignore comments like that or come out with better comebacks to shut them bitches up. I believe that loving myself was the highlight of 2015 because many opportunities came to me after I fully loved all of my strengths, weaknesses, and insecurities.

Year three is indeed a very stressful year - final year project & internship. I felt that my group and I were just unfortunate to get a demanding client who does not know anything about our line of work and also unfortunate to be sharing the same project with another group, hence the comparison between both groups and also favoritism. Nevertheless, I am very glad that all of my friends and I cleared all of our modules and its safe to say that we've successfully completed our poly life. Am missing the four of them real badly :-( Internship has been really great to me, as I've told in my previous entries. As much as I love my workplace, I can't wait for internship to end because I feel like it's been draining me real bad.

2015 is also a year for many firsts - the most important ones being my very first official shoot and my very first jewelry sponsorship. Still can't forget my excitement when I was chosen to be one of the models for @happyvibesofficial! It was such an unforgettable experience, meeting the beautiful girls and trying out beautiful clothes. I must admit, I was a nervous wreck on that day because everyone was too gorgeous to begin with and it's my very first time being alone in a totally different environment. Since it was my very first shoot, I didn't really know what to expect in terms of modelling and I'm glad to say that I've learnt quite a lot during those few hours with them. I'd definitely want to model again in the future because it's such a wonderful experience. Have I told you guys that when I was younger, I aspired to be a model? Well, now you know ;-)

Also, I realised this year that miracles do happen. I'm genuinely happy with everything in my life right now and words can't express how I exactly feel. I'm excited for this new adventure I'm gonna have in 2016 and I'm very glad to be sharing that same experience. I'm hoping that 2016 will be a year for many more new beginnings and I've been planning some stuffs that hopefully I'll be confident in doing in 2016.

Have a happy new year everyone and I hope that just like any other year, 2016 will be a life-changing one for all of you :-) you can read my previous "end of year" post here: x

Love, haz

Hey yall welcome back to this space.
I was meaning to type out this post last Sunday but was too tired to do so and only able to do this tonight. Last week was by far the most jam-packed week ever; with so many plans on the same week back to back, I couldn't help but feel super exhausted by the time Monday came. This week was hell too, because it was the last week of work for 2015 and we had to rush a lot of stuffs. Trust me, it was the most stressful four days ever but it was worth it because the holidays are finally here!

Last weekend was great because I finally got to spend time with my favourite people. On Saturday, I went to Gardens by the Bay, followed by dinner at my boss's place and ending the night by sending my beloved sister off for umrah. Yes, three activities in 24 hours. By the time I went home, I was extremely tired and went to bed easily.

It was my very first trip to Gardens by the Bay and I was really excited to be there because it's been so long since this opening (I think like 3 years? 4 years?) and being there with the best company made it so much more memorable. We arrived Bayfront at noon and went walking around shoppes @ marina bay sands because it was pretty early and we wanted to look at the beautiful mall. And damn right, there were so many high-end stores there and I can't help but gawk at all the stores while we were strolling around the mall. I felt rich walking there because I see all the popular high-end stores. There's Moschino too!!!!! Only god knows how bad I was holding my feelings in when I saw Moschino. But being there made me excited because I can't wait for the day that I'll be able to purchase clothes from those designer brands! We didn't really know where to go after walking inside the mall for a while, so we went straight to the gardens.

Thank goodness I had my very own personal tour guide and we slowly made our way. We took quite a while to get there but once we took the lift up, it was worth it. The view was amazing, breathtaking. It was a pretty sunny day and the wind was string so my hair was flying everywhere. There were so many tourists taking photographs of themselves with the flyer as their backdrop. At first, our sole purpose was to complete a full round of the garden. We thought it'll be easy as it was easy to differentiate the stops, but oh boy, how wrong we were.

Before we started our adventure, I commented that it'll be stupid to get lost in a huge place like this. And guess what....we got lost twice in a span of two hours. We only realised it when we were walking the same direction as before. What's worse was it happened to be the most hottest time ever and we were sweating so bad and the both of us didn't bring any caps or sunnies so we had to sheild out eyes every time we walked. Also to add to the list of do-nots, we forgot to take a copy of the map and only used our navigation skills to get us through the place. We went to Satay by the Bay to get some ice cream because the heat was un-bear-able. After that short break, we continued our journey and walked as far as our legs could bring us. We landed at Marina Barrage and it was deserted as ever. It used to be a really busy place, people having picnics and all but all we saw were constructions. After realising that we were lost, we immediately went to the ticketing booth and grabbed the map in case of emergencies (a.k.a. getting lost again) We managed to venture other parts of the garden and the view was beautiful despite the shitty weather, but I'm thankful that it didn't rain at all because that would have sucked so much more. I'm pretty sure we were done by 3pm.

All those walking made my legs weak so we found a resting area under this big ass fan and spent our time talking. I had to leave for dinner at 6pm & we didn't really had much planned because we thought that we'd be spending all our time here. Since we had quite a lot of time left, we made our way to orchard to explore and window shop. Literally like #exploresingapore. Along the way, we went inside shoppes again and I went crazy when I saw the DC Cafe and started jumping like a little girl the moment I saw Nightwing on the cafe's banner. I just had to enter the store because of the merchandises. Sad that they didn't carry a lot of nightwing merch but there was this huge batmobile and life-sized figurines of Batman and Catwoman. Pretty much after this, all we did was mall-hopping and we also went in the library at orchard! It was a pretty sight, but it was too quiet and we couldn't bear the silence so we went out the moment we saw the exit. Funny me, I only realised that I didn't take any photos at gardens by the bay only after resting. Hopefully the next time I go there, I'll remember to capture the moments, instead of capturing it with my own eyes :-)

Said goodbye to my cute little ball of sunshine and made my way to meet Yi Jing to the boss's place. It took us quite a while to get there because we got lost (yes again) but thankfully a nice security guard helped us along the way. We bumped into two of our colleagues, Don & Janet and we went up together. Apparently, it's their first time there too and they were as clueless as we were. When we arrived, a few of our colleagues already started drinking and engaged in small talk. While waiting for the rest to come,  we played a round of introduction and I got to know more about my colleagues. It was nice to sit around and listen to them share their previous work experiences before joining the company. We then had dinner - Indian and Thai food. I was so touched by the boss & his wife's gesture when they told me that they bought halal food and told me that I'm able to eat everything. So thankful to get understanding colleagues. I had to leave after dinner because I needed to rush to the airport to send Azzah off, so I excused myself and left the place.

Everyone of Azzah's closest family members were there, and it was a nice sight to see. Everyone was really happy and they were snapping lots of pictures before their flight. I did snapped a lot of pictures too because I don't get to see all of them together.

the moment adryan saw me, he sat on my legs for the longest time & didn't
want to go anywhere at all (not complaining tho I love him a lot hehehehe cutie pie)

not to forget, he punched me in the face twice while fighting with his brother HAHAHAHA

I promised myself that I wouldn't cry when it was time for Azzah to go because trust me, airports and haz don't work well together. I cried every single time when I had to send someone off; my dad, my sister, nureen, nad and yana. So I didn't want to make a fool of myself that night. Thankfully I didn't and honestly, it felt funny because i'm not used to that. After sending her off, we headed back home and by the time we reached home, it was 3am and all I wanted to do was sleep.
Pretty lengthy huh? Thanks for staying with me until the end of the post.

Till the next one,
love haz x
