Hey yall, welcome back. It's the 16th, less than two weeks before intern officially starts for me. Personally, I'm super pumped up for internship but I don't want to expect so much. Like what they always say, the higher the expectation the greater the disappointment. I shall keep my excitement to my little self. 

But these few days, I've been feeling a little sad & also under the weather and I could not bring myself to do tasks, no matter how hard I try. I just wanted to lie down and isolate myself from anything and everything. Last night I was roaming in the kitchen and found a recipe glued onto the fridge and thought "hey, I should bake a cake tomorrow". And so, I took out the ingredients I needed for the recipe and left it out to cool overnight, so by the time I wake up the next morning, the ingredients are safe for baking. I thought that baking would be able to distract me or take away all the negative vibes I've been having. 

I only started baking in the afternoon because I may have woken up late again today. I went to the kitchen and preoccupied myself with baking. Sure enough, my worries went away when I was busy baking in the kitchen. I'm hardly one to bake because I feel that I'm not that great in baking, compared to my mum and sister. So usually I am the one who finishes up the cake hehe. I took to snapchat to document the whole baking process because why not? All I snapchat nowadays are videos I see on my laptop, and also occasional sims 4 stuffs. Hey yall your girl's back with another entry. Happy October everyone! Hopefully this month will be great for all of you, god willing. Very rare of me to post twice in a week, you only hear from me once every month but whatever, enough babbling. Yesterday, I was out with my friend because we planned on visiting playnation to play some console games. I was pretty stoked because it's been ages since the last time I went to playnation and I was in the mood for games. 

Our initial plan was to meet at Somerset MRT at 1pm, have lunch at Pastamania and then head over to Playnation by 2pm. But as always, things don't go quite as planned. After having a scrumptious lunch, we made our way to scape and found out that there was few people waiting outside the store. From my knowledge, the store opens exactly at 2, just like the last time I went there. We didn't really wanted to stand outside so we went down to check out the other stores. We went up again at 2 to find out that there weren't any available slots!!! I was so disappointed and we left the place broken-hearted (at least that was how I felt yesterday). 

Since we were pretty much planless, we decided to stop by H&M since it's around the corner. Nice timing because I had to find a few tops for my internship next month. Plus, he wanted to check out this bag for school. And so, our adventure began. By adventure, I meant walking, walking and more walking. It felt good walking outside, appreciating the scenery eventhough the haze clouded the air. After circling almost the whole mall, we headed to The Cathay and ended up buying tickets to watch Everest. We still had an hour to kill, so we went to Plaza Singapura and continued window shopping and walking aimlessly. But I went into the really huge Sephora and it felt like home hahaha. 

A lot of things happened along the way and it was a good day. The day became a distraction and all my worries went away. I didn't do things that I planned to, and for once it felt like a good thing. I guess it's okay to be spontaneous sometimes.
