start counting
Hello lovelies.
I spent eight hours last night with Nini and Nina, chilling at Nini's place. We wanted to spend a day together before school officially starts next Monday. As usual, having mixed feelings about school starting but hey, I'm happy that I don't have to waste my days at home doing nothing productive most of the times. I met the girls at Northpoint and we went to get lunch together before heading to nini's house. Nini needed to get a balloon for her sister's birthday and we went to the balloon store first before buying food. There were a variety of party essentials and all of us were amazed (maybe I was the only one but whatever) at the amount of stuffs that the store had, despite the space constraint. Knowing us, we didn't left the store empty-handed. We bought balloons for all of us, solely for playing with helium later on. Sometimes I feel like we're nine year old kids, sometimes nineteen year old ladies.
Guess who bought what?
Nina wanted her nails painted and so a nail art competition began. It was not a competiton in the first place because Nini's such a pro in nail art and me on the other hand, sucked pretty badly in painting nails because I hardly do them. I did the left hand and Nini did the right hand. Nini went for a colourful palette, incorporating pastels for her design. She added baby pink dots on the blue nails to add more details. I went for a slightly darker palette, painted a deep indigo shade for Nina. I told Nina that on days she feels happy, she has to use her right hand a lot and on days where she feels sad or angry, she has to show her left hand more than the right hand. It was nerve wrecking painting someone else's nails but I did it yay! We ended the night talking about nini's makeup collection and headed back home at 8:30.
In other news, my schedule for year three came out yesterday and we went online to take a look at it.
Thankfully, I didn't have as many 8am lessons this time round phew but generally, just by looking at the timetable, I have longer hours in school even when I have three modules this time round. But finally after two years, I'm in the same form class as ninz and we were screaming in joy yesterday after discovering the class list. There are many plus points about the new semester and I believe if I continue this positive thinking, I'll be doing fine when school start.
Despite all the nervousness, I'm pretty psyched for year three. With my friends and close companions by my side, I'm sure all of us will be fine and I hope it'll be fine for you, the one reading this, too. It will be a different sight now because some of my friends aren't on the same path as me but it's okay, if it's meant to be, it will be. I might not be able to post an entry next week, but let's see how that goes. To those poly students, make full use of your last few days of holidays and I hope you all will have a fruitful year!
