a brand new start
Hello lovelies and say hello to the first post of 2015!
I'm hoping that your year has been great so far and how are those new year's resolutions going? Let's hope you have at least drafted some of them out ;-)
This week marks the first week of the second term and I am honestly very nervous for my final year in poly, coming this April. I'm hoping that I'll clear all of my modules before going for my final year project and internship! Got good news to share; my team and I have finally sent out report = one assignment down!
However, I still have lots of assignments waiting for me :-( *prayer circle for all in the same boat and say hello to upcoming sleepless nights and panda eyes and the appearance of zombie haz*
The week's been pretty tough, with me trying to switch from holiday mood to school mood and to recall my files and all that jazz. Honestly speaking, I am happy to be back in school because I can drown myself into the sea of assignments and school tasks. Downside of school is obviously waking up early every single day. And yes, I'm talking about you, 8am classes. *rolls eyes* Still waiting for permanent termination of 8am, 9am and 10am classes.
But the best part of school is meeting my dearest friends. I did not manage to meet them during my term break and I finally got to "lepaskan rindu" on Monday. We were in the middle of lecture when I whipped out my phone to take some pictures. And as usual, both Nina and Nini were ready for pictures HAHA
We just had to take pictures, depicting what a normal lesson looks like. The photoshoot day came and I got to meet new people from my course and we absolutely had so much fun. The shoot ended at about 7pm and before heading home, my lecturer said that the photos will be used for SPOH 2015. After hearing the news, I was excited and nervous at the same time. Nervous because the I do not know how the pictures turn out, but excited because I'm finally contributing to the school (somehow)
As you all know, all the five polytechnics in singapore are currently having their annual open house, specially dedicated to the graduating students and of course, my school is involved. My friends and I had this conversation during our break last Monday. We were thinking of where my photos were because I was not told where the photos will be used. We decided to find the photos on open house days. In the afternoon, kailee and I wanted to loan a videocamera to be used for one of our modules. We were on the opposite building when I saw a glimpse of a very very familiar scene. Sudden realisation when it's actually the scene from the photoshoot!! Immediately I broke into fits of uncontrollable laughter and told kailee about the situation. After borrowing, we rushed to the opposite building to look at the photo closer.
