Hello lovelies.
It's been quite a while since my last entry and as usual, I thought I could at least post an entry per week. The upcoming weeks will be a roller coaster ride for me because most of my deadlines and submissions fall on the same week. I believe most of the poly students are feeling the pressure now, so it's comforting to know that I'm not the only one who feels stressed and unmotivated.

I can say that today's the start of a very hectic schedule. I had two presentations earlier on today, one for my elaw assignment and another one for SIP, which is a gallery walk where students showcase their creations at the library and they will have to . My teammates for SIP wanted to wear matching clothes, so we planned on wearing flannels! Little did I know that my teammates for elaw also wore flannels, so it was a pretty sight.

I get really nervous whenever I have to do presentations, especially when I do not have time to rehearse my parts. As usual, when we were told that we are the next group to present, I started to get nervous. Thankfully, it went smoothly and my groupmates were really cool in presenting our findings. So, I got all nervous for no apparent reason because we did pretty well.

So after my elaw presentation, I had to rush to the main library at colours and it was a long walk from my classroom. And so, with me carrying my heavy bag, and donning black from head to toe, I made my way quickly to the library. I met Hanee along the way and headed to the library with her.

The first thing that popped into my mind was "holy crap the venue's really small and where is our booth" We managed to find our booth and saw our groupmates already there, setting up the booth. My lecturer told us the week before this that other lecturers will come and give us feedback so I thought it'll be like a grand ceremony or something. In actual fact, it was just a showcase with students roaming everywhere.

The people that came to visit our booth were our classmates and friends. It was pretty boring for me because I didn't really know that many people but I was saved when nina and nini came to visit me during the gallery walk. The two hours went by really fast and little that we know, we saw people packing up and left the area. I'll let the pictures do the talking.

us and our beautiful prototype *winks*

what I love about my group is that we like to have dress codes for
important events like this one

on this very day, I realised that I'm the shortest one in the group le sigh

my girl, hanee

thanks for coming again my luvs x

we look like we're talking about the prototype, but no
we were actually gossiping

That day was by far the most exhausting and stressful day for me, because I started school at 8 in the morning and spent so much time in school. I foresee more mental breakdowns this coming weeks because most of my deadlines are nearing. Honestly, I'm feeling so pressurized and sad but thank goodness for this writing space ya.

Let's hope that the upcoming weeks wouldn't fuck me over.

Hello lovelies and say hello to the first post of 2015!
I'm hoping that your year has been great so far and how are those new year's resolutions going? Let's hope you have at least drafted some of them out ;-)

This week marks the first week of the second term and I am honestly very nervous for my final year in poly, coming this April. I'm hoping that I'll clear all of my modules before going for my final year project and internship! Got good news to share; my team and I have finally sent out report = one assignment down!
However, I still have lots of assignments waiting for me :-( *prayer circle for all in the same boat and say hello to upcoming sleepless nights and panda eyes and the appearance of zombie haz*

The week's been pretty tough, with me trying to switch from holiday mood to school mood and to recall my files and all that jazz. Honestly speaking, I am happy to be back in school because I can drown myself into the sea of assignments and school tasks. Downside of school is obviously waking up early every single day. And yes, I'm talking about you, 8am classes. *rolls eyes* Still waiting for permanent termination of 8am, 9am and 10am classes.

But the best part of school is meeting my dearest friends. I did not manage to meet them during my term break and I finally got to "lepaskan rindu" on Monday. We were in the middle of lecture when I whipped out my phone to take some pictures. And as usual, both Nina and Nini were ready for pictures HAHA

My assignment briefs for all of my modules were released too. You can safely say that my holiday mood has completely vanish into thin air........bye bye

family photo ayyyyyyy tURN UP

A few months ago, my personal tutor, also known as the lecturer in charge of my class, came up to me and asked whether I was interested to be a student model. Intrigued, I asked him what I had to do. He explained that I, and a few other students from my course will be promoting this new room in the Digital Media block. It's a room equipped with the latest gaming equipments for the year two students under game development line. There's xbox 360 in every working table and the interior of the room looks pretty sick! Immediately, I agreed to the idea.

We just had to take pictures, depicting what a normal lesson looks like. The photoshoot day came and I got to meet new people from my course and we absolutely had so much fun. The shoot ended at about 7pm and before heading home, my lecturer said that the photos will be used for SPOH 2015. After hearing the news, I was excited and nervous at the same time. Nervous because the I do not know how the pictures turn out, but excited because I'm finally contributing to the school (somehow)

As you all know, all the five polytechnics in singapore are currently having their annual open house, specially dedicated to the graduating students and of course, my school is involved. My friends and I had this conversation during our break last Monday. We were thinking of where my photos were because I was not told where the photos will be used. We decided to find the photos on open house days. In the afternoon, kailee and I wanted to loan a videocamera to be used for one of our modules. We were on the opposite building when I saw a glimpse of a very very familiar scene. Sudden realisation when it's actually the scene from the photoshoot!! Immediately I broke into fits of uncontrollable laughter and told kailee about the situation. After borrowing, we rushed to the opposite building to look at the photo closer.

this photo is plastered on a freaking wall. A wall outside the classroom we did the photoshoot, guys. My face is on a wall. I can strike this off my bucket list ;-)

an overly-excited me looking at myself hehe

Before anything else, let me clear something. I have never done this kind of photoshoots before and the thought of me modelling has never occurred to me in my teenage years so I am super stoked to look at the final results. I was anxious at the thought of the photos going horribly bad, but you have no idea how relieved I was to know that the picture turned out alright! But that's not all.

My classmates was involved in the DMIT tour and he told me yesterday in class that my picture is in the course booklet and also used in one of the booths in the DMIT labs! It was such a great thing to hear in the morning and I was determined to find them before the end of school yesterday. My classmate kept a copy of the course booklet and handed it to me. Thank you tommy!

hey homie whatcha doin

me admiring the mini poster hehe

Let's hope that the remaining weeks be less stressful and more enjoyable than this week!
