Hey yall welcome back to my humble space. This time round, I have quite a number of things to share with yall so sit tight, this one's gonna be a long read.

Back in my last post, I mentioned about studying for finals, which were in fact manageable despite the lack of studying time. After finals ended, I couldn't really spend my holidays that well because I had these thoughts at the back of my head, "What if I failed one subject? Will I be able to graduate with the rest of my friends?" Of course, I tried to push those thoughts away but every once in a while, it came back to scare me. But recently, I received my results and thank heavens, I passed all of my current semester modules! Which only means something, I'm left with internship before I officially say goodbye to SP. Feeling kinda bittersweet because I wouldn't be meeting my friends everyday but then it'll be a new experience! 5 months alone wouldn't hurt that much, right?

Since we're talking about internship, I have also received my ITP placement and all those details about my internship. I'm actually feeling super stoked for internship but I guess I'll have to spend every second wisely before intern starts because from the looks of it, intern will be taking up lots of my beauty sleep.

I went to the beach last Sunday for kak hanis' 22nd birthday party at East Coast Park. She had invited her relatives and family friends to hang out and they booked a bbq pit. My mum was catching up with her secondary school mates because it's been a while since their last meetup together. Everyone there was socializing and had their own friends whatsoever but I kinda don't have anyone from the same age group so I was roaming around and stuff.

Best thing about having a birthday party at the beach is the beach. The sound of waves crashing, the strong winds, taking strolls on the shore. So, I dragged my sister and Nadra to the breakwater to relax. And of course we had to share our beautiful view on snapchat.

We stayed for a few hours before making our way back home. Definitely a tiring day, even though all I did there was eat eat eat and eat hehe. But one thing's for sure, I was able to let off some steam and it was therapeutic to be at the beach.

Yesterday, I went out with my favourite girls for bowling. We were supposed to meet our other bunch of friends but our plans with them got cancelled, so we just met each other. If I had to describe the day using one word, it'll definitely be this: shit. Our initial plan was to head over to SP for bowling and then grab dinner afterwards. But of course, our plan didn't go as planned.

We took the train to school when nurina suggested we alight one stop after Dover and take a bus there because she said it was closer to the building. If we were to alight at Dover, it would take us about ten minutes max to walk to the building but it was pretty hot and so we went on with the new plan. SP's pretty big and the plan was plausible. Furthermore, she just went bowling there and said she remembered the way and it's so much better than my way. This is when everything went downhill. We alighted at Buona Vista and nurina was searching for the bus stop. We went to the wrong bus stop and to go to the one opposite. There wasn't any overhead bridge so we had to take the longer route. Problem solved? NOPE

We took the bus and accidentaly missed our stop (probably because we didn't know where to stop) and alighted at Clementi HAHA we ended up cabbing to the destination. Problem solved? NOPE
Apparently, we should have called before even going there because the moment we stepped into the bowling alley, we realised that there was an event going on and the alleys will only be available after 7pm. Also, the guy over at the counter was super rude when we asked for any empty lanes tsk. We were so sad after knowing that our trip to school was pointless and we wasted so much time. Thankfully I did my research the previous night and had a few other places for us to bowl. We then settled for chevrons because it was the nearest one from our location. Lesson learnt: we called the place before heading to the place and thankfully there were empty lanes.

So we made our way out of that place. We were waiting for the bus when we realise that we've been waiting for quite a while for the bus to Clementi and I couldn't take waiting anymore and suggested to cab to Chevrons instead. After the taxi ride, we made our way to the alley and realised that nurina lost her mrt card! We called the taxi driver to ask whether she left her card there but he said it wasn't there :-( but thankfully all the bad things stopped there.

Once we started bowling, all of our negativity went away and we had so much fun bowling, if that wasn't obvious in all of our snapchats. So many things happened while bowling, like sajidah being caught on camera when she fell before she was about to bowl. I may have the video footage but it's okay, it's floating somewhere in the internet kekekeke. We bowled for about two hours before making our way to dinner. After much discussion, we headed to Mr Teh Tarik at the old jurong west because good food for cheap #brokeashell

Girls will be girls and we catch up on our lives over dinner and were so engrossed with our stories. The crowd started coming in and we had to move somewhere else because we were hogging the seats so we made our way to mac for desserts. As usual, time passed really quick whenever we meet each other but I'm so grateful that we'd finally meet. Times like this make me wonder what'll actually happen if all of us were in the same school..................I'll always have a great time with them, despite the shaky start to our morning. Laying in bed, snuggled between my bolsters in this weather, nursing the after effects of last night's intense bowling competition between myself, can't help but replay yesterday's highlights in my head.

Last but not least, I am excited to say that I was picked to shoot for happyvibesofficial on instagram, for their latest collection! They were finding for models, and I just tried for fun, thinking that they wouldn't choose me because let's be real, I don't have the stick figure model body. But that didn't stop me from joining because I've always had dreams of being a model back when I was younger. Most of my photos back when I was a little kiddo were full of different poses and I definitely knew how to work with the camera. Thankfully, I still had some decent poses as I got older oops. I am and still very grateful for the opportunity to shoot with other beautiful ladies and I hope that this'll open new doors for me.

Phew, I'm done with this post. That took me about two hours (minus the time where I got distracted finding for new themes) hehe I hope yall liked this lengthy post. Let me chill in my bed and continue where I left off from vampire diaries (and yes I re-watched the whole tv series)

short update: I almost forgot to mention another news! Last month, I received a sponsorship from ishopstudio on instagram! I was sent two beautiful necklaces of my choice and I'm super thrilled because I landed my very first sponsorship. This month is by far the best month (other than June) and I'm really thankful for that.

love, haz
